Angles

What the story actually is

The thesis

AI work needs an operating system

YAKKL connects model routing, enforced plans, durable state, and audit evidence so AI-assisted engineering remains governed after the chat window closes.

The problem

AI writes the code; nothing governs it

Assistants generate code faster than teams can review it. State evaporates between sessions, plans are suggestions rather than constraints, and there is no trail showing how a change came to exist.

The wager

Vendor independence as architecture

Routing work across model vendors means no single provider owns the workflow — a structural position rather than a feature, and one that gets harder to adopt the longer a team waits.

The stage

Pre-revenue, Founder’s Program open

The platform is approaching release candidate. There are no customers to cite yet, and we would rather say so than imply traction we do not have.

Fact-checking

If you are quoting a claim about how the product works, send it over before publication and we will confirm or correct it. We would rather be accurate than flattering.
