YAKKL Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe, lawful, and responsible use of YAKKL services.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all YAKKL Services, including AI, agentic, API, cloud, deployment, and hosted services. It is part of the applicable agreement with YAKKL.
YAKKL is a development and orchestration platform. Automation, APIs, agents, tool execution, testing, and authorized security work are expected uses. This AUP restricts harmful conduct, not legitimate automation.
1. Illegal activity and rights violations
You may not use the Services to:
- violate applicable law, sanctions, export controls, court orders, or legally binding restrictions;
- infringe, misappropriate, or violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights;
- facilitate fraud, deception, theft, extortion, money laundering, trafficking, or evasion of lawful controls;
- impersonate another person or falsely claim authority, affiliation, endorsement, or origin; or
- collect, process, disclose, or sell personal data without lawful authority and required notice or consent.
2. Security abuse and malicious software
You may not use the Services to:
- gain or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, devices, credentials, or data;
- create, deploy, or distribute malware, ransomware, credential theft, destructive payloads, botnets, covert persistence, or exploit code intended for unauthorized harm;
- conduct denial-of-service attacks, evade access controls, bypass safety or usage controls, or interfere with the Services or others' systems;
- scan, test, or exploit a system without authorization; or
- expose secrets, credentials, vulnerabilities, or personal data without lawful authorization.
Good-faith defensive security research, authorized penetration testing, malware analysis, capture-the-flag exercises, education, vulnerability remediation, and development of protective tools are permitted when appropriately scoped and lawful. Use isolated environments and do not deploy harmful capability against third parties.
3. Harm, abuse, and exploitation
You may not use the Services to create, facilitate, or materially assist:
- credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, doxxing, or non-consensual intimate content;
- child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, or content that sexualizes minors;
- instructions or operational support intended to cause physical harm, mass violence, or unlawful weapons development;
- human trafficking, forced labor, or exploitation; or
- encouragement or facilitation of suicide or self-harm in a manner that creates imminent risk.
4. Deception and manipulation
You may not use the Services for material deception, including:
- phishing, credential harvesting, fraudulent support, scams, or deceptive financial solicitation;
- non-consensual impersonation or synthetic media intended to mislead people about a material fact;
- coordinated inauthentic behavior or unlawful election interference;
- fabricated evidence or records represented as authentic; or
- concealing AI involvement where disclosure is required by law or necessary to avoid material deception.
5. High-impact decisions and professional domains
You may not use the Services as the sole decision-maker for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on a person in employment, housing, credit, lending, insurance, education admissions, healthcare, legal services, or access to essential services.
Lawful assistive use requires qualified human review, validation, notice, appeal or recourse where required, testing for accuracy and discrimination, security controls, and compliance with applicable professional and sector-specific rules.
The Services do not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, security, or other professional advice.
6. Privacy-sensitive and regulated data
Do not submit highly sensitive or regulated data unless the applicable plan, Order, DPA, security controls, and law authorize it. This includes protected health information, payment-card data, government identifiers, precise biometrics, children's data, authentication secrets, and data subject to special contractual or regulatory restrictions.
You may not infer highly sensitive traits about a person, conduct unlawful surveillance, or perform prohibited biometric identification or categorization.
7. Hosted content and communications
If YAKKL hosts, publishes, or transmits content for you, you may not use the Services for unlawful content, malware distribution, deceptive sites, spam, rights violations, or content prohibited above. You are responsible for end-user notices, consent, moderation, and lawful communications.
You may not send unsolicited bulk communications or evade suppression lists, consent requirements, sender-identification rules, or unsubscribe obligations.
YAKKL does not place third-party advertising in customer Services under this AUP. If YAKKL later offers advertising features, separate terms and consent requirements must govern them.
8. Service integrity and resale
You may not:
- evade plan, seat, rate, CU, capacity, geographic, provider, or safety limits;
- use another person's credentials or share individual credentials;
- probe or extract non-public model weights, system prompts, source code, or security controls except as law expressly permits;
- scrape or bulk extract the Services themselves contrary to documented interfaces;
- resell or sublicense access unless an Order or authorized program permits it; or
- use the Services to create a confusingly similar copy of YAKKL or falsely imply YAKKL endorsement.
These restrictions do not prohibit using Output to develop customer products, supported API use, interoperability, benchmarking that protects confidential information, or automation within purchased limits.
9. Third-party and model-provider policies
Customer-selected providers, BYOK accounts, custom endpoints, integrations, and models may have additional acceptable-use requirements. You must comply with the policies applicable to the route you select. YAKKL may block a request that would violate a provider restriction or expose YAKKL or others to material risk.
10. Enforcement
YAKKL may investigate suspected violations using proportionate automated and human review. YAKKL may warn, rate-limit, block a request or capability, remove hosted content, suspend access, or terminate an account depending on severity, recurrence, legal duties, and risk.
YAKKL may act immediately for urgent security, safety, legal, or abuse concerns. Where practicable, YAKKL will provide notice, identify the policy basis, limit action to the affected capability, and allow cure.
You may appeal an enforcement decision through support@yakkl.com. Provide the account, decision, relevant context, and why you believe it was incorrect. YAKKL will review the appeal in good faith.
11. Reporting
- Security vulnerabilities: security@yakkl.com
- Abuse or policy concerns: support@yakkl.com
- Legal notices: legal@yakkl.com
Do not include credentials, unnecessary personal data, or unlawful content in a report. Provide a secure retrieval method for sensitive evidence.
12. Changes
YAKKL may update this AUP to address new risks, Services, provider requirements, or law. Material adverse changes affecting existing paid use will receive notice under the applicable agreement unless urgent action is required.
