Subscription Policy

This Subscription Policy describes how subscriptions work for YAKKL services and supplements our Terms of Service. By subscribing to any YAKKL service, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
YAKKL never takes possession of, custody, control over user funds, or has access to your funds or secrets. Subscription payments do not grant YAKKL access to your wallet assets.

- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before period end.
- Accept crypto (preferred) and credit card payments where applicable.
- You pay all network, gas, and swap fees for crypto payments.
- Cancel anytime; service continues until period end.
- No refunds except where required by law.
- Upgrade immediately; downgrades take effect next billing cycle.
- We'll notify you before price changes and renewal dates.
- Usage limits apply per tier; additional quota may be purchased.
1. Subscription Tiers
YAKKL offers multiple subscription tiers to meet different user needs:
Free Tier: Basic wallet functionality including standard transaction features, limited blockchain support, and essential security features. Subject to usage limitations and may include reduced priority during high-demand periods.
Pro-level Tiers: Enhanced features including but not limited to: additional blockchain support, advanced security features, priority support, lower swap fees, higher transaction limits, portfolio analytics, and API access. Specific features vary by tier level.
Enterprise Tier: (Coming Soon) Custom solutions for businesses and institutions with dedicated support, SLAs, and compliance features. Contact sales for details.
Current tier features and pricing are displayed at yakkl.com/pricing and within the application. Features may change with reasonable notice.
2. Billing Cycles
Subscriptions are available in the following billing cycles:
- Monthly: Billed every calendar month from subscription start date
- Annual: Billed yearly from subscription start date (includes discount)
- Custom: Enterprise customers may negotiate custom billing terms
Your billing cycle begins on the date you first subscribe and renews on the same calendar day each period. If the renewal date doesn't exist in a given month (e.g., 31st), billing occurs on the last day of that month.
3. Payment Methods
Cryptocurrency Payments (Preferred):
- Accepted on most major networks (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, etc.)
- Native tokens preferred; ERC-20/compatible tokens accepted where supported
- Payment amount calculated at time of transaction initiation
- You are responsible for all network fees, gas costs, and any swap fees
- Transactions must complete within 1 hour of initiation or may require retry
- Insufficient wallet balance will result in failed renewal; service continues for 3-day grace period
- We'll send reminder emails 3 days before crypto subscription renewals
Credit Card Payments:
- Available for select services only
- Card details stored securely by our payment processor (not YAKKL)
- Automatic retry on failed payments for up to 7 days
- International cards accepted; billed in USD
Prepaid Credits:
- Purchase credits in advance for future subscription payments
- Credits expire 12 months from purchase date
- Non-refundable and non-transferable
- Applied automatically before charging payment method
4. Automatic Renewal
All paid subscriptions automatically renew to ensure uninterrupted service. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
Renewal Process:
- Renewal attempted up to 24 hours before subscription expiry
- Email notification sent 3-7 days before renewal (check spam filters)
- For crypto: ensure sufficient balance including gas fees
- For cards: ensure card is valid and has sufficient funds
To disable automatic renewal, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelled subscriptions remain active until period end.
5. Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrades:
- Take effect immediately upon payment
- Prorated charge for remainder of current billing period
- Future renewals at new tier price
- Instant access to upgraded features
Downgrades:
- Take effect at start of next billing period
- No partial refunds for current period
- Maintain current tier features until downgrade effective
- Data/features may be limited after downgrade; export important data beforehand
Switching Billing Cycles: Moving from monthly to annual billing provides immediate discount benefits. Moving from annual to monthly takes effect at next renewal without refund of annual discount.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation:
- Cancel anytime through account settings or by contacting support
- Cancellation stops future charges only
- Service continues until end of paid period
- Re-subscribe anytime (may lose promotional pricing)
- Data retained per our Privacy Policy
Refund Policy:
- No refunds except where required by law
- No refunds for partial periods, downgrades, or unused credits
- No refunds for crypto payment gas/network fees
- Disputed charges subject to Terms of Service arbitration clause
7. Free Trials
We may offer free trials for pro-level features:
- Trial length varies by promotion (typically 14 days)
- Valid payment method required (charged after trial unless cancelled)
- Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
- One trial per user/payment method
- Previous subscribers may not be eligible
Trial terms displayed during signup. Abuse of trials may result in immediate termination and charges.
8. Usage Limits and Quotas
Each tier includes specific usage allowances:
- Transaction limits (daily/monthly)
- API call rates
- AI token call rates
- Connected wallet/account limits
- Data storage quotas
- Support response times may vary by tier
Exceeding limits may result in:
- Temporary service restrictions
- Automatic upgrade prompts
- Additional usage charges (with prior notice)
- Requirement to upgrade tier
Current limits displayed in account dashboard. We may adjust limits with 30 days notice.
9. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with advance notice:
- 30 days notice for price increases via email
- Price changes effective at next renewal after notice period
- Grandfathered pricing may be offered to existing subscribers
- Annual subscribers protected from increases until renewal
- Promotional pricing subject to stated terms
If you disagree with price changes, cancel before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
10. Failed Payments
Grace Period: 3-day grace period for failed renewals during which service continues. Multiple payment retry attempts during grace period.
After Grace Period:
- Subscription suspended (not cancelled)
- Limited to free tier features
- Premium features disabled but data preserved
- Reactivate by updating payment method
- Extended suspension (30+ days) may result in data deletion
Crypto-Specific Failures:
- Insufficient gas: transaction won't initiate
- Insufficient token balance: payment fails
- Network congestion: retry with higher gas
- Smart contract issues: contact support
11. Taxes and Fees
Listed prices exclude applicable taxes and fees:
- Sales tax, VAT, GST added where required
- You're responsible for all applicable taxes
- Tax calculated based on billing address
- Business customers may provide tax exemption certificates
- Blockchain network fees always paid by user
12. Account Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend accounts for Terms of Service violations
- Require tier upgrades for excessive usage
- Grandfather features for existing subscribers
- Offer regional pricing variations
- Provide custom enterprise agreements
13. Communication
By subscribing, you agree to receive:
- Billing and renewal notices
- Payment confirmations and receipts
- Service change notifications
- Usage alerts and limit warnings
Ensure your email is current and check spam filters. We're not responsible for undelivered notices to outdated contact information.
14. Integration with Terms of Service
This Subscription Policy supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. In case of conflict, this Policy governs subscription-specific matters. All other aspects governed by the Terms of Service including limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
